These will be configured and shipped as flowmeters, but we should be launching the standalone Sonic Gauge Wall Thickness Meter in the near future.
This builds on the wall thickness functionality built into the Pocket flowmeter as standard.
The Sonic Gauge has been tested on pipe wall thicknesses from 1.5 to 25 mm, with coatings up to 20 mm thick.
This is important for application on painted pipes where corrosion would be a problem.
The Sonic Gauge works with a range of sensors with frequencies from 1 to 5 MHz depending on wall and coating material and thickness.
